Membership program in development.
A formal membership structure with bylaws, voting rights, and chapter participation is being designed for a 2027 launch.
The 2027 legislative session is the moment. Whether you have five minutes, five hours, or a multi-year commitment to give, there is work that needs you.
In five minutes
- Subscribe to our newsletter for legislative updates, project briefs, and ways to show up. Form below.
- Follow us on Instagram, Bluesky, or wherever you spend your time. Quote and share.
- Tell one person about the 2028 service cuts. Most Las Vegans don’t know yet.
In five hours
- Come to an event. Showing up at a meeting changes what’s politically possible.
- Write your legislator about RTC funding before the 2027 session. We’ll publish a template.
- Document your bus stop. Take a photo. Note the shade, the bench, the route board, the trash situation. We’ll aggregate.
In five years
- Become a member. A formal membership program is in the works for 2027 (see our membership strategy).
- Lead a project. Project leads run our outreach work — at a college, a high school, a faith community, a labor coalition. We’ll train and back you up.
- Run for something. The most durable transit wins start with transit advocates becoming the people who hold the votes.
If you have money
Donate. Every dollar buys signs, prints reports, pays for a year of website hosting, fuels a coalition meeting. We are entirely volunteer-run for now; donations make the difference between sending a letter to one legislator and sending one to twenty.
If you run an organization
We are actively building a coalition. If you represent a labor union, a faith community, a business, a school, a healthcare system, or another nonprofit and want to talk about partnership, email partners@lasvegasfortransit.org.
